Obituary: June E. (Lougee) Landry

Mrs. June Landry was a resident of Wrentham for more than 50 years.

June E. (Lougee) Landry, 74, of Wrentham, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late David R. Landry, who died in 2006. 

Born June 1, 1938, in Plainville, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Irene (Chelotti) Lougee, she was raised and educated in Plainville, and was a resident of Wrentham for more than 50 years. 

In her earlier years, she worked for the Whiting & Davis Company as a press operator, and most recently assisted her daughter in the operation of the Best Deli in Franklin since 2003. 

June loved to cook, and spend time gardening. She also enjoyed taking care of her beloved dogs; Bandito, Tia Maria and Brady. 

She is survived by a daughter, Charlene A. Landry of Wrentham, and a sister, Judy Spaulding of Maine.  June was the sister of the late Eric Lougee. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service Friday, April 26 , at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery, Beaver St. Franklin. Interment will follow. 

Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
