Obituary:Helen Marie (Spellman) Hugo

Mrs. Helen Marie (Spellman) Hugo was a retired machine operator at Texas Instruments.

Helen Marie (Spellman) Hugo, age 74, died unexpectedly at her home in Plainville on Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Helen (Miller) Spellman.

Helen was born in Dedham on July 5, 1938. She lived in Plainville for the past 31 years and was a former longtime resident of Foxborough.

Helen was a retired machine operator for Texas Instruments in Attleboro. Prior to working at Texas Instruments, she was employed by Fuller Box Company and Mason Box Company in North Attleboro.

Helen loved music, especially Elvis and had a great sense of humor. She also loved classic television and at onetime was an avid bowler, roller-skater and ice-skater.

She was the beloved wife of George J. Hugo, loving mother of Janet M. Hugo of East Weymouth, Carol A. Pacheco and her husband Manuel of Taunton, Helen Marie Hugo of Plainville and David A. Hugo of Webster,  grandmother of Quiana Chant’e Blue and Nicole Pacheco and sister of the late Harold “Buzzy” Spellman.

Arrangements were handled by Roberts and Sons Funeral Home and burial was in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
