Obituary: Fiorina "Florence" Caselle

Fiorina “Florence” Caselle, 94, of Taunton Street, Wrentham, died on Thursday August 30, 2012 at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham.

Born in Barile, Italy on May 14, 1918, she was a dear daughter of the late Michael and Prata Maria (Nobile) Basso. She came to the United States in 1953, first settling in Rye, New York, and later in 2001, moving to Wrentham to be near family.

A homemaker, she loved cooking and sewing. Her grandchildren meant absolutely everything to her and she was her happiest when sharing time with her family.

She is survived by her loving daughter Jeanette and her husband Ward Flanagan of Wrentham, and three devoted Grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Matthew, and Lauren Flanagan.

Her Funeral Mass was Celebrated yesterday in St. Mary’s Church, 140 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre. Her burial was earlier today in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
