Obituary: Eleanor M. Crawford

Eleanor M. (Thomas) Crawford, 74, died after a lengthy illness Sept. 21, 2013 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Wrentham. 

She was daughter of the late Frederick and Marion (Bemis) Thomas.

Eleanor was born in Dedham Jan. 1, 1939 and graduated Dedham High School, Class of 1956. She was married to her late husband Henry in Boston June 26, 1965. 

She has been a Foxborough resident since 1983.

Eleanor was a secretary for over 15 years. She worked until her retirement in 2000 for 10 years at the Norwood Hospital. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She leaves her children Cheryl Maduskuie and her husband Bob of Wrentham and Michael Crawford and his wife Karen of Attleboro; her grandchildren MacKenzie and Michael Crawford, and Brett and Connor Maduskuie; and her siblings Arthur Thomas of Plainville and Marion MacDonald of Florida. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kerri Crawford-Burns and her brother Richard Thomas.

Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Foxborough.
