Obituary: Dennis Anne Jolly, Plainville resident, retired Attleboro bus driver

Denise Anne Jolly, a Plainville resident and former Attleboro resident, died Jan. 24.

Denise Anne Jolly, 60, of Plainville, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, died on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. A former resident of Attleboro, she was the beloved wife of the late William "Bill" A. Jolly, who passed on March 6, 2009. They were married 23 years.

Born  Jan. 4, 1953, Denise Derosier was the beloved daughter of Winifred (Guinard) Derosier of North Attleboro and the late Joseph Derosier. Denise was educated in Attleboro schools and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She recently retired after many years as a school bus driver for the Attleboro School Department.

In addition to her loving mother, Winifred, Denise is survived by a son, Christopher Horton of Plainville; her stepchildren: Gregory G. Jolly and Kimberly A. Diamond, both of Attleboro, and Julie A. Jolly and Stephen A. Jolly and his wife Kristina, all of North Attleboro; three brothers: Richard Derosier of New Jersey, Steven Derosier of Phoenix, Ariz., and Roger Derosier of Plainville; a sister, Pamela Cole of Florida; four beloved grandchildren: Kacey Amanda Jolly and Kellen Michael Jolly of Attleboro, and Ava Katheryn Jolly and Anthony Ryan Jolly of North Attleboro; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Jolly of Attleboro; and several nephews.

Funeral arrangements were handled by the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro. A serive was held Jan. 30 at the funeral home. Denise will be buried at later date beside her beloved husband, Bill, in Mt. Hope Cemetery & Arboretum in Attleboro Falls.
