Obituary: David Vincent Govoni

David Vincent Govoni, 60, died in his Wrentham, home on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Born in Plymouth, Massachusetts on Dec. 24, 1952, he graduated from Silver Lake High School with the class of 1971. He went on to graduate from Bridgewater State College with the class of 1976. He has been a resident of Wrentham for the past eight years moving from the Plymouth and Kingston Area.

Mr. Govoni was the New England Regional Sales Manager for Ocean Beauty Seafoods based out of Seattle since 2007 and he had previously been the New England Regional Sales Manager for Vita Food out of Chicago.

He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed golfing, traveling, listening to music, and spending time at the beach. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his children.

He was the beloved partner of Linda M. Bishop, loving father of Andrew V. Govoni of Dighton, devoted son of Aletha Rhodes and Brud Philips of Kingston and the late Vincent Govoni. Brother of Joann F. Shilonski of Middleboro, stepfather to Joshua W. Bishop, Rebecca L. Bishop, Ashlee Auger, Aimee Clemmey, and Abby Clemmey.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, April 25, from 6-8 p.m. in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common St. Walpole.
