Obituary: Barbara (Witusynsky) Babicky

Barbara (Witusynsky) Babicky 87, of Wrentham, died peacefully, Friday Aug, 9, 2013 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, following an illness. 
Born Jan. 15, 1926, in Woonsocket, R.I., a daughter of the late Harry and Tekla (Pelek) Witusynsky, she was a former resident of Franklin and North Attleboro, before moving to Wrentham. 
Barbara was raised and educated in Woonsocket, and also attended the former Hill College. She worked for many years as a kitchen aide at the Wrentham Development Center. 
She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading tabloids, watching the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and listening to the Glen Miller Band and big band music, and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Franklin. 
Barbara is survived by a daughter, Audrey B. Jordan and her husband Ralph of North Attleboro, two sisters; Stella Dangelo of Franklin and Anna Motyka of Alabama, and her two grandchildren Bradley and Jarrett Jordan. 
She was the sister of the late Henry Witusynsky, Alice Chudy and Mary Chudy. 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Thursday Aug. 15, at 10:30 a.m. in the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro. 
Calling hours are Wednesday Aug. 14, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
