Obituary: Annette Dolores Woolford

Wrentham resident Annette Dolores Woolford passed away on November 13 at the age of 90.

Annette D. Woolford, 90, of Wrentham died peacefully and in her home on Wednesday November 13, 2012.  She had been the loving wife of the late Donald E. Woolford, Sr., who died in 2000.     

Born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on June 24, 1922, she was the dear daughter of the late Armand and Virginie (Jean) Lapierre.  Her schooling was at a Girls Catholic Boarding School in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada.  She grew up in Norfolk on Lawrence Street and near Bush Pond, and has been a Wrentham resident since she and her late husband moved here in 1939.    

Very much a family woman, she enjoyed all the times spent with her loving children and grandchildren.  She particularly was fond of traveling to the White Mountains, and loved spending time in the outdoors.  She was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Wrentham, where her devotion to her faith was expressed through daily Mass attendance.

She is survived by her loving children, Donald E. Woolford Jr of Blackstone, Joanne Woolford Ollenborger of Crystal River, FL and Linda Wooford Davison of Temple, GA, and was mother of the late Donna Woolford Finley.  She was the dear sister of Albert Lapierre of Wrentham and the late Ernest and Herve Lapierre.  She was the devoted grandmother of four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the RJ Ross Funeral Home, 135 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, on Friday from 4-8 PM.  Her Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, 140 South Street, Route 1A, Wrentham Centre, at 10:30 AM.  Burial will follow in the Wrentham Centre Cemetery.
