Obituary: Anne M. Cavanagh

Wrentham resident Anne M. Cavanagh passed away on October 7, 2012 at the age of 81.

Anne M. Cavanagh 81, of Wrentham, died peacefully, Sunday October 7, 2012 at the Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Home following a long illness.

Born in Hull, Massachusetts on June 14, 1931 a daughter of the late John T. and Catherine (Donovan) Cavanagh, she was a former longtime resident of the Dorchester section of Boston and Peabody until moving to this area to be near her family.

She was educated in Boston’s schools and was a retired homemaker, who enjoyed reading, all types of animals, especially dogs, and spending time with her family.

Anne is survived by a daughter, Mary Beth Goodfellow and her husband Mark of Franklin, a sister Ellen O’Sullivan and her husband Frederick of Peabody, & 2 beloved grandchildren Katherine & David Goodfellow of Franklin.

She is the sister of the late William Cavanagh and Cathleen Champagne.

The Family has requested a private graveside funeral service to be held at Holyhood Cemetery in Brookline. Interment will follow.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to the Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Home c/o Activities Fund 90 Taunton St. Wrentham, MA 02093.
