Obituary: Alberto A. "Albert" Nardone

Alberto A. "Albert" Nardone of Wrentham, recently passed away at the age of 84.

Alberto A. “Albert” Nardone 84, of Wrentham, died peacefully, Thursday January 3, 2013 at Serenity Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Anna T. (Lippolis) Nardone and the late Rosaria “Rose” (Giancristofaro) Nardone who died in 1971.

Born March 23, 1928 in Franklin, a son of the late Alessandro and Mary (Constantina) Nardone, he was a longtime resident of Wrentham, and was a former resident of Franklin.

Albert was raised and educated in Italy, and came back to the United States at age 19. He retired after many years working as a laborer at the former Kendall Mills in Walpole.

He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, woodworking, traveling, especially to Italy, Spain and Portugal and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Mary’s Church in Wrentham.

In addition to his wife of 37 years, he is survived by a sister Laura Tenaglia of Franklin, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Julia Signoriello.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Monday Jan. 7th, at 8:00AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 130 South St. Wrentham, at 9:00AM.

Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
