Five Things You Need to Know: Wednesday, July 25

Absentee ballots available at Norton Town Hall.

1. There will be a high of 83 degrees today, according to weather.com., under partly sunnery skies. There will be a low of 63.

2. Wrentham Town Clerk Carol A. Mollicannounces that absentee ballots for the Sept. 6, 2012 State Primary are available now for Wrentham voters for the following reasons: Absence from town during normal polling hours, physical disability preventing the voter from going to the polling place and religious belief. Call the Town Clerk’s office for more information and to check your voting status. Because the Sept. 6 election is a primary, any changes to a voter’s enrollment must be taken care of by Aug. 17. The Town Clerk also invites the public to stop by the office to see one of the new voting booths that will be used at this Primary and thereafter.

 3. It may be a few weeks away but registration has begun for the Crackerbarrel 5K on Sept. 15. Registration can be done at the race's offical website.
