Five Things You Need to Know: Monday, July 2

Patriot Place will be having fireworks on Tuesday night.

1. The Summer Preschool Storytime for ages 3 1/1 to kindergarten will be held Friday, July 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the children's program room. Join Miss Liz for stories, songs, poems and parachute play. The program is free, but food donations for the Wrentham Food Pantry are accepted.

2. The Wrentham Town Hall and Fiske Public Library will be closed Wednesday, July 4.

3. Patriot Place will be holding fireworks Tuesday night at 9 p.m., following Finish at the 50 Road Race at Gillette Stadium at 6 p.m.

4. After playing Seattle to a 2-2 tie Saturday, the New England Revolution will be off until Saturday when they host New York Red Bulls at 7 p.m.

5. It will be a great day to find a water spot or get into the shade. Temperatures are expected to reach at high of 80 and low of 61 under partly cloudy skies.
