Sudden End

The season came to an abrupt end this week, as BC High defeated KP 4-0. The Warriors fought valiantly, but came up short to a deserving team. This is the 6th time in seven years that the KP boys’ soccer team has made the state tournament, and this consistency is a good sign moving forward for the program.  KP finished third in the league, behind Franklin and Mansfield, and they were in the hunt for the title until the last few games.  It was a great season for the Warriors, and they fought hard every game, refusing to give up at all times. This was evident in memorable comebacks against Bishop Feehan and Attleboro, all with less than ten minutes to go. The team played strong throughout the whole year, and it was unfortunate the season had to end so suddenly. KP boys’ soccer looks to come back even stronger next year.
