Woodcock Walk at Birchwold Farm sponsored by Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary

Join us as we travel off site to discover the eccentric courting behavior of the woodcock.Sometimes called the timberdoodle, this member of the sandpiper family performs a courtship display that is a rite of spring. Birchwold Farm in Wrentham is an ideal spot to view this magnificent show.

Meet at Birchwold farm parking lot.

Directions: From Route 495 take exit 15 to Route 1A, (South St.) North, travel approximately 0.5miles. Take a left onto West St. (Route 121) travel approx. 3.7 miles. Parking lot will be on the left. (The address is approximately 1479 West St. in Wrentham.)
