Jazzy Valentine Dining & Dancing with Roy Scott Big Band

Join Roy Scott Big Band on Saturday, February 9 for our annual “Jazzy Valentine” Dining and Dancing Concert! Special guests include vocalist Ruth Debrot and instructors from Savaria Dance Studios in Norwood.  Savaria instructors will provide introductory dance lessons throughout the evening.

The band will play the great hits of the swing era with songs made famous by artists such as Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, Harry James, Judy Garland and Benny Goodman, often referred to as the “King of Swing”. The band will pay tribute to Mr. Goodman by performing classic numbers such as “Let’s Dance,” “Moonglow,” “Stompin’ at the Savoy,” “Don’t Be That Way,” and the rarely heard full-length version of “Sing, Sing, Sing,” among others.
