Wrentham to Hold Hazardous Waste Day Saturday

Town will collect hazardous waste on Saturday.

Wrentham will be holding a hazardous waste collection event at the Department of Public Works yard and senior center parking lot on Saturday.

The town will once again be collecting rigid plastics (like children's outdoor toys, plastic lawn furniture and milk crates) and styrofoam this year.

  • Pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers
  • Oil-based paints
  • Paint thinners and cleaning solvents
  • Kerosene and other waste fuels
  • Photographic chemicals and chemistry sets
  • Glues, adhesives, rubber cement and resins
  • Rechargeable batteries
  • Asbestos (double bagged and wetted)
  • Swimming pool chemicals
  • Oven, toilet bowl and drain cleaners
  • Products containing mercury
  • Antifreeze, brake fluid and transmission fluid
  • Auto batteries
  • Used motor oil
  • Propane tanks (with fee)
  • Tires (with fee

The town will not accept latex paint, explosives, commercial/industrial waste, biological waste or smoke detectors.

The event will take place from 9am to 1pm.
