Wrentham Student Honored in Rhode Island

General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo recently presented the Treasury Young Leader Award to 37 students, including Wrentham’s Olga Pou-Felix.

The Treasury Young Leader Award recognizes high school juniors who have demonstrated an interest in entrepreneurship and outstanding achievement in math, economics, and business-related classes.

“The Treasury Young Leader Award honors students who not only excel at their studies but also make significant contributions in their communities,” Raimondo said. “Meeting these talented students and their families makes me proud and optimistic for the future of our state.”

The awards ceremony was held at Ximedica, a medical product development and healthcare company in Providence.
