With six touchdowns and five of them on the ground, KP easily improved to 2-0 with a 40-8 win over the Medfield Warriors of the Tri-Valley League.

The running attack from Joe Johnston (220 yards, 4 TDs) came fast and often as KP took a 7-0 lead after a 40 yard run on the second KP offensive play of the game. Getting to the outside, it wasn’t long before KP had their first score of the game.

“We’ve been preaching and trying to get our running game going. This is new for him (Johnston) and we’re just trying to get him some carries and the more carries he gets each time he gets a little bit better and gets to know what he’s doing a little bit more,” KP head coach Brian Lee said.

Wrentham 9/11 Memorial Unveiled in Front of Town Hall

On September 11, 2001, Troy Neubrecker was only four years old. What he remembers of that day is very little as for someone that young to understand what happened that day is near impossible.

“I remember my parents telling me, that’s about it,” Neubrecker said.

11 years later and with a much greater appreciation of the tragedy that comes with growing up and maturity, the young 15 year old from Wrentham stood in front of Town Hall to unveil the 9/11 Memorial that he fundraised over $22,000 for.

James’ Breakfast and More Ready to Make the Best Wing

When James Arsenault of James’ Breakfast and More was offered a spot in the YMCA’s Wing Off this Saturday at Fusion 5 on Route 1 in Foxborough, he was more than happy to take part in the charity event, even if the dish of the night is not on his regular menu.

“I don’t even have wings on the menu but I know that I can make good wings,” Arsenault said.

After doing a few catering jobs for the local YMCA, Arsenault was invited to test his wings against other local restaurants. Also competing will be host venue Fusion 5, Twenty8 of Foxborough, the Chieftain Pub of Plainville, the East Coast Grill of Cambridge, and more.

Even without wings on the menu, Arsenault is not without the ability to make a tasty wing. In fact, he will be approaching the competition with a different strategy than most restaurants when it comes to cooking wings.
