Wrentham Patch's Weekend Dose: William Daniel Road to be Dedicated Today

The Father and Son Band will be performing on the Wrentham Town Common Sunday.

1. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND-Now, this is more like it. Today, it will be mainly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s, according to WHDH-TV. Sunday will be sunny with temperatures in the upper 70s, near 80. A few "isolated" showers are possibile after dark.

2. HEAR THE MUSIC-The Father and Son Band will be performing at the Wrentham Town Common, Sunday, June 16, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Sweatt Fund and presented by the Wrentham Recreation Department.

3. ROAD TO BE DEDICATED-The bypass road running in front of King Philip High School between Frankin Street and Shears Street is being named for the late William L. Daniel Jr. at 10 a.m. Daniel was a longtime cross guard.

4. REV UP YOUR ENGINES-The Herb Chambers Cars and Coffee evert will be taking place Saturday, June 15, 7-11 a.m. at the Lexus dealership at 25 Providence Highway in Sharon. Herb Chambers will host the early morning meet up of classic, vintage and specialty cars - and their owners from all over New England. For more information, visit their web site.
