Wrentham Patch's Daily Dose: Sign up For Summer Hoop Camp

1. A BREAK FROM THE RAIN-Rain tapers to showers before 7 a.m., according to WHDH. It will be mostly cloudy with a few afternoon thunderstorms possible and muggy. Temperatures will be 70-73.

2.LAKE CLOSED-Lake Pearl will be chemically treated to control nuisance and invasive aquatic vegetation Thursday, June 13. The lake will re-open Friday for swimming, fishing and boating. It will closed for drinking, irrigation and watering livestock for five days after the treatment.

3. SELECTMEN TO MEET-Wrentham selectmen will be meeting Wednesday, June 12, to select a new building commissioner at town hall at 6:30 p.m. Check out the agenda here.

4. SUMMER HOOP TRAINING-The deadline to take part in the Wrentham Summer Basketball Clinic is June 18. The cost is $75 per session and the clinics are for grades one-six.
