Wrentham Patch Daily Dose: Plainville Library on Summer Schedule

1. HEY, THE SUN IS COMING OUT...FOR A LITTLE WHILE-The morning light rain will taper to cloudy skies by noon and there will be some some between 2-3 p.m., according to WHDH. Highs will be in the low 60s to the low 70s.

2. HEAR THE MUSIC-The Father and Son Band will be performing at the Wrentham Town Common, Sunday, June 16, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Sweatt Fund and presented by the Wrentham Recreation Department.

3. CONGRATULATIONS COLLEEN-Norfolk's Colleen Mistler, a cosmetology program graduate at Tri-County Regional in Franklin, was presented with the Cougar Culture Award for the second time. She was a recipient of the John and Abigail Adams Scholarship, and the Service Award. She competed in SkillsUSA, was recognized for Shop Excellence, and was a member of the Volleyball, Track, and Math teams. Mistler was Senior Class Vice President, and was Vice President of the National Honor Society. She plans to attend Springfield College in the fall to pursue a degree in Athletic Training.

4. SUMMER CLOSING TIME-The Plainville Library is operarting under its summer hours and will be open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and closed on Saturday.
