Wrentham DPW Announces Extended Services for Residents in Wake of Hurricane Sandy

The following letter was submitted for publication by Superintendent of Wrentham Public Works Michael T. Lavin, Jr.

Dear Wrentham Residents,

In an effort to help residents, the Wrentham Board of Selectmen voted Tuesday to allow residents to drop off yard debris at the Department of Public Works Yard Waste Facility, 360 Taunton St., on the next two Saturdays, Nov. 3rd and Nov. 10th; from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Permits will not be required during this timeframe. Please keep in mind this is intended for Wrentham residents only and proof of residency may be required.  All other restrictions will apply; no plastic will be accepted, branches should be no larger than four inches in diameter and no longer than four feet.  Stumps will not be accepted.

In addition, the Town will allow people to put out an extra barrel of trash without the purchase of the purple bags next week for anyone who missed the regularly scheduled pickup due to Hurricane Sandy.
