Wrentham Day Brings Town Together

Wrentham Day was once again a success as the town came together at Wrentham Common for a day of fun for everyone.

Once again, the town came together Saturday afternoon as the town held Wrentham Day down at Wrentham Common to check out the booths, enjoy some ice cream, and even run a 5K.

With booths from everyone from the Board of Selectmen to many of the local animal shelters, there was something for everyone at the annual celebration. Also making appearance earlier in the day were Wrentham residents State Senator Richard Ross and Senator Scott Brown.

The main event came at 2:00 p.m. when the Wrentham Lions Club served up their banana splits across David Brown Way. With a countdown from the grandstand, it wasn't too long before almost every child at the common was rushing towards the Lions for their share of ice cream.
