Will Wrentham Enjoy a White Christmas?

According to weather forecasts, there is a chance of snow on Christmas.

For those dreaming of a White Christmas, they may get their wish when they wake up on the morning of December 25.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 70% chance of snow on Christmas Eve. The snow is expected sometime after midnight.

On Christmas Day, there is a 60% of snow and freezing rain before 11:00 a.m. The wintry mix and freezing rain may form some slippery spots on the roads so afternoon drivers are advised to use caution.

Chris Lambert of WHDH also discussed the possibility of snow during the holiday. According to Lambert, the snow should come in around midnight on Christmas Eve before tapering off during the mid-morning. The rest of Christmas should be sunny with a high of 37 degrees.

The big snow, according to Lambert, may come later in the week when a storm on Wednesday or Thursday could drop up to a foot and a half of snow in some places in the region. Currently, the storm looks to be more rain than snow for Wrentham and the surrounding area but that could change as the week goes on.
