Wrentham DPW Announces Extended Services for Residents in Wake of Hurricane Sandy

In an effort to help residents, the Wrentham Board of Selectmen voted Tuesday to allow residents to drop off yard debris at the Department of Public Works Yard Waste Facility, 360 Taunton St., on the next two Saturdays, Nov. 3rd and Nov. 10th; from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Permits will not be required during this timeframe. Please keep in mind this is intended for Wrentham residents only and proof of residency may be required.  All other restrictions will apply; no plastic will be accepted, branches should be no larger than four inches in diameter and no longer than four feet.  Stumps will not be accepted.

Anyone who comes to Wrentham, probably can tell from the signs in front of house after house that the town residents for the most part are big fans of Senator Scott Brown.

The story of someone who was an elected property assessor in 1992 only to become a US Senator in 2010 is an improbable one and it is one of a town that has stood by and supported. Brown is running for reelection against Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren.

If there were to be a Republican star from Massachusetts, it makes sense that Wrentham would be home to that person.

Wrentham went down in larceny theft from 2010 to 2011.
