Weather Update: Winter Storm Warning in Effect

According to the National Weather Service, Wrentham may get 1-3 inches of snow this afternoon and 4-8 more inches this evening.

Despite earlier reports that Wrentham would only receive two-four inches of snow, a new forecast from the National Weather Service says that there may be more snow on the way.

According to the report, Wrentham has a 90% chance of precipitation during the afternoon and a total daytime snow accumulation of one to three inches.

In the evening, more snow is expected before 3:00 a.m. with a low of 23 degrees. There is a 90% chance of precipitation and a possible new snow accumulation of four to eight inches.

In addition, a winter storm warning has been issued for the area though 7:00 a.m. on December 30. According to the warning, most of the snow is expected to fall between 5:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

On the roads, visibility and road conditions are expected to be poor, making driving difficult.
