Wrentham's Sweatt Beach to Open June 15

Sweatt Beach will be open from June 15 to Aug. 25 this year for residents of Wrentham, Norfolk and Plainville.

Sweatt Beach will open for the 2013 season on Saturday, June 15, and will remain open seven days a week through Sunday, Aug. 25. The beach is open daily from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., weather permitting.

Seasonal family passes are available for a fee: Wrentham residents $125; Norfolk and Plainville residents $150; daily fees are $4 for adults and $3 for children, regardless of residency.

Sweatt Beach on Lake Pearl off Woolford Road is open to Wrentham, Norfolk and Plainville residents for swimming and recreation. Hours, depending upon the weather, are weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Seasonal passes are available; daily fees are $4 for adults and $3 for children, regardless of residency.

Passes will be sold in the town hall lobby on the following dates:

Saturday, May 4, 9:30-11 a.m.  
Tuesday,, May 7,  6-7p.m.
Saturday May 11, 9:30-11 a.m.

Passes will also be available for purchase at the beach beginning June 15.  Payment by check or cash only.
