Question of the Day: Massachusetts Economy

Are you optimistic about the economy in the Bay State?

We'll be asking Wrentham Patch readers questions from time to time. Questions could range from local decisions made by officials, to state issues, to national politics and entertainment. Whatever it is, we want to know what Wrentham thinks!

The State's Executuve Office of Labor Workforce Development reported Thursday that Massachusetts' jobless rate is on the decline, according to the Boston Globe.

In August, the jobless rate fell from 7.4 percent to 7.3 percent - the lowest since 2009. The National Unemployment rate is 9.1 percent.

While the jobless rate may be declining, there are still plenty of people in the Bay State (and in Wrentham) who are out of work and many factors could cause the rate to rise once again.
