Plainville Selectmen Vote for Plainridge Slots

According to the Sun Chronicle, The Plainville Board of Selectmen voted 3-0 to approve an agreement with the Plainridge Race complex to allow slots on the premises.
The agreement signed between the town and the compnay states the town will get $2.7 million in fees along with $1.5 million in property taxes if Plainridge is able to win the state's solitary slot parlor license.
The town will vote on the issue for Sept. 10.
