Make Your Own Weather Zone
The National Weather Service is developing a page that allows you to make your own zone forecast.
It's called a "user-defined forecast page" that allows people to draw their geographic boundaries onto a map and set elevation perimeters.
That means your Wrentham forecast can include the the downtown, your commute or just your neighborhood.
"Please test it out and let us know what you like and don't like," the National Weather Service requested on its Facebook page.
The mapping-your-own-forecast feature is still in development, so feedback will be relayed directly to the programmers to improve the product.
Here's the link to test it out: http://www.nws.noaa.gov/wtf/udaf/area/?site=mtr
