Levandosky Wins Hockomock Area YMCA Triathlon

Hopkinton's Steve Levandosky edged out Plainville's Michael Medeiros to win the Seventh Annual Hockomock Area YMCA Triathlon Sunday morning at Luciano's Lake Pearl.
Levandosky finished in a time of 51:42. In the swim part of the competition, he was in 43rd place at 8:56, but he was able to get to the top pack with a 21:45 on the bike and then finished strong with a time of 19:35, which was the best of the road.
Medeiros was steady all the way and finished in a time of 52:21. He competed the swim in a third best time of 6:53, followed by a 22.28 on the bike and 21:29 in the run.
Wellesley's Caitlin Remby was the top female finisher in sixth over all at 56:58, while Plainville's Debbie Rhines was 10th in 1:00.12.
The race featured the father-son duo Dick and Rick Hoyt, who finished in 1:55.03.
