The NPW MOMS Club is planning a fun filled fall schedule of events and invites all full time or part time stay at home moms residing in Norfolk, Plainville, or Wrentham to join! All are welcome to attend the monthly social at Mass Premier Courts in Foxboro on Friday, September 30 at 9:30am.

NPW MOMS Club’s goal is to provide a welcoming support network for stay at home moms in the tri-town area. Trinity Episcopal Church Welcomes New Priest

Trinity Episcopal Church in Wrentham is extremely pleased to welcome a new permanent rector. The Reverend Canon Robert Edmunds and his wife, Deborah, will join the Trinity community on September 18.

Most recently, Rev. Edmunds completed a three-year post in Jerusalem, where he served as the Chaplain to the Anglican Bishop for the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem. Prior to that position, Rev. Edmunds was the Rector of St. Andrew’s Church in Edgartown, Massachusetts, from 1992-2008. St. Andrew’s draws a congregation of 220 year-round members and approximately 400 congregants in the summer.

Rev. Edmunds graduated from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University and began his ministry as a curate in Jamestown, New York. Rev. Edmunds and his wife have been very involved in community life and have had strong civic relationships with numerous social groups in towns in which they have served.

Recently, Rev. Edmunds has also been appointed as the Episcopal Church Middle East Partnership Officer. This global leadership and exposure will add to the breadth and depth of the spiritual experiences at Trinity Church in Wrentham.

Trinity-Wrentham is very excited to secure a rector of such outstanding caliber. This opportunity became possible through a collaboration with St. John’s Episcopal Church in Franklin. In this joint effort, both Trinity and St. John’s will maintain full operations as individual churches, but will share Rev. Edmunds' time and expertise.

This collaboration will allow for some shared ministries as well, including an initial mutual youth group for youth in grades 8-12. This collaborative ministry model is new for both parishes, and there is much enthusiasm for all the new cross-parish opportunities this arrangement will provide.

Trinity would like to offer a special thank-you to our interim priest, Rev. William Eddy, who led the parish through this transition and facilitated the successful idea of searching for a very qualified permanent rector in collaboration with another parish.

Services at Trinity are held at 9am on Sunday mornings. Sunday School registration will be held on September 11 and a full Sunday School program will be offered in conjunction with the 9am service beginning on September 18.

Trinity welcomes all who are in search of exploring faith and looking for an inclusive spiritual home. Trinity is located at 47 East Street (Rt. 140) – just east of the intersection with 1A and across from the town common. Please come visit us or visit www.trinitywrentham.org. If you are new to Trinity Church and would like more information about our parish family, information can be obtained through our church office at 508-384-3958.
