Kids Grab & Go Planner: It's Game Time!

Families can be a part of March madness by checking out some local hot spots for fun and games!

  • Like Yu-Gi-Oh? The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game is the #1 trading card game in the world, with over 22 billion cards sold. It is a game of strategy, where players create individual decks of cards collected from structure decks and booster packs.  Friendly Neighborhood Comics (Bellingham) hosts a free casual Yu-Gi-Oh! every Saturday at 10am. Tournament begins at noon. Win special cards and cool prizes!
  • If your child is crazy about Legos, you have to check out the Lego Club at Fiske Public Library in Wrentham. Held every Saturday from 2:30pm to 3:45pm, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon building and creating. There is no registration required. Just stop by and play.
  • In the spirit of everything Irish, Patriot Place is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day all day on Saturday, March 12, including live musical performances, Irish step dancers, face painting, caricature art and lots of giveaways. The festival begins at 11am in North Marketplace outside Life is Good. There’s a full schedule of events on their site. 
  • Worcester is hosting their annual St. Patrick’s Day parade featuring floats, bands, clowns and boosters of Irish heritage on Sunday, March 13 between Mill Street & Highland Street, Worcester at noon.
  • The 5th annual CSA Winter Carnival will take place at the Memorial School (59 Adams Street, Medfield) on Saturday, March 12 to raise money for the Memorial and Wheelock schools in Medfield. Play games, make a craft, have lunch and jump around on the inflatable jump houses! Bid on one of the many auction items and take your chances on the 50/50 raffle.
