Get Out: Area Events For This Weekend

Things going on in the Wrentham area this weekend.

Where/When: Mass Audubon's Moose Hill. 293 Moose Hill St., Sharon. Friday, 6:15pm to 8pm; Saturday, 5:30pm to 8pm; Sunday, 5:30pm to 7:30pm

What is it?: The event, at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary, will be a creative, safe Halloween celebration. It features a barn full of Jack-o-Lanterns, an hour-long guided walk and a history of Halloween.

Price: $9, free for children under three.

Where/When: Wrentham center parking lot. Saturday, 9am to 3pm.

What is it?: There will be a ski and snowboard sale at the center lot in Wrentham to benefit the King Philip girls ice hockey team.

This is a tent sale, and will be held rain or shine.

 

Where/When: 572 Nichols St., Norwood. Saturday, 10am

What is it?: There will be a craft show in Norwood this Saturday, featuring work from around 35 local artisans and vendors.

Price: Adults $1, kids free.


Where/When: Xaverian Brothers High School, 800 Clapboardtree St., Westwood. Sunday, 10am to 1pm.

What is it?: The Xaverian Brothers High School will be sponsoring an open house for eighth-grade boys at the high school. For additional information, call the admission office at (781) 326-6392.
