Get Out: Area Events For This Weekend

Looking at events in the area this weekend.


Where/When: Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Nov. 4, 7pm
What is it?: Explore the fascinating world of owls at Stony Brook. We'll practice our owl hoots and take a look at what makes these critters so special, then head out on the trail to look and listen.

We might hear, or even see, great horned or Eastern screech owls, as well as other nocturnal animals. After our walk, we'll warm up with some hot chocolate.
Price: $8 for members, $11 for nonmembers

King Philip Football vs. Attleboro
Where/When: . Nov. 4, 7pm
What is it?: The King Philip Warriors will take on Attleboro High School at 7pm on Friday.

Where/When: Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Nov. 5, 10:30am
What is it?:Start your weekend off right with a fun and knowledgeable Stony Brook teacher on the trails learning about nature. There will be crafts, activities and lots of laughter. So come and join the fun. This month’s theme: Lunch for a bear/Terrific turkeys!

Ages 2.9 to 6 with a parent. Preregistration is required
Price: $8 members, $10 nonmembers for parent/child pair.
