Things to do in the area for the weekend.

Wrentham Lions Club Spring Duathlon
Where/When: Crackerbarrel Fairgrounds. Sunday, April 17, 8:30am
What is it?: The Lions will be hosting their annual Spring race this Sunday. There will be a three-mile footrace and an 11-mile bike race. Funds raised by the race will go to Lions charities.

Norfolk Recreation Easter Egg Hunt
Where/When: Freeman-Centennial School, Norfolk. Saturday, April 16, 10am
What is it?: An easter egg hunt for children up to age 11 will be held on Saturday on the fields surrounding the Freeman-Centennial School. No registration necessary.
Price: Free

Norfolk Public Library Book and Bake Sale
Where/When: Norfolk DPW Garage. Saturday, April 16, 9am-3pm
What is it?: More than 30,000 books will be available at the Norfolk library's book sale on Saturday. Proceeds will go to support programs at the library.

Stony Brook Presents "Vernal Pools Are Hopping"
Where/When: Stony Brook Wildlife Sanctuary. Saturday, April 16, 1pm-3pm
What is it?: The Stony Brook Sanctuary is hosting a look at the temporary ponds of Spring this Saturday. Registration is required, so register by phone, email (stonybrook@massaudubon.org), fax (508-553-3864) or in person.
Price: $12 member, $15 nonmember for parent/child pair

Lego Club at Fiske Library
Where/When: Fiske Public Library. April 9, 2:30pm-3:45pm
What is it?: A Lego Club at the library. No registration required.
Price: None.
