Wrentham Fun Day Once Again a Success
The family event provided such activities as rock climbing, live music, and the annual golf ball drop.
For the second year in a row, the Wrentham Elementary School Trust, Inc. (WEST) and the Friends of Wrentham held Fun Day at the Cracker Barrel Fairgrounds.
The event serves as a fundraiser to help WEST cover the costs of teacher grants and curriculum enrichment programs.
The event also raises money for the Friends of Wrentham, a group that supports residents living in the Wrentham Developmental Center.

With activities such as pony ride, a magic show, a dunk tank, and rock-climbing wall, there were activities for the whole family. Local bands such as Inertia also provided live music.
The main event of sorts for the day was the golf ball drop for $1,000. The winner would be the person whose golf ball could get closet to a target flag after being dropped from atop a fire truck ladder along with several other balls.
