2. The King Philip High field hockey team will be playing Barnstable in the Division 1 South Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at home. The Warriors are the 15th seed in the tournament with an 8-6-4 record, while Barnstable is the last seed, No. 18, with a 5-5-8 record.

3. The Wrentham Elementary School students will be hosting Grandparents/Special Persons day Thursday, Nov. 8. There will be no parking on school grounds, but there will be at Luciano's at Lake Pearl, starting 8:30 a.m. with bus service. Volunteers are needed to assists the guest.
