FIve Things You Need to Know May 24: Ulta Beauty Holds Grand Opening Today

1. Ulta Beauty will be holding its grand opening celebration at its new location in Patriot Place's South Marketplace, starting today and ending Sunday, May 26. Here's the schedule of events for Friday.

 8:45 a.m. Special ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Patriots Women’s Association

9 a.m. Doors open. All Day: The first 100 shoppers will receive a gift card worth anywhere from $5 - $100. The first 100 shoppers will receive a complimentary Gift Bag. Enter to win prizes from Patriot Place tenants including: Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro, Victoria’s Secret, Trader Joe’s, CBS Scene Restaurant & Bar and Pro Shop Collection.

5-7 p.m. DJ Dera spins today’s hottest music.

2.  Well, the heat will be leaving, according to WHDH, with temperatues only in the high 60s. It will be cloudy and muggy during the day before it becomes raw by evening.

4. King Philip Youth Soccer will be hosting Fall Season Placement Evaluations June 9 at King Philip Middle School. Girls will check-in at 10:30 a.m. and will finish at 1 p.m., the boys will check in at 1:30 p.m. and will finish at 4 p.m.
