Cracker Barrel Fair Returns on September 13!

The 32nd annual Cracker Barrel fair is coming soon! Organizers are preparing for another exciting and fun-filled event. This year, the fair will be held Thursday, September 13 - Sunday, September 16.  Fair hours are 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The fair will take place at the Cracker Barrel Fairgrounds at the Wrentham Developmental Center.

On Sunday it will be bracelet day from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., which means all rides all day are only $20

As in past years, there will be live musical entertainment on each day of the fair. On Friday, the musical stylings of the Hitmen will be featured.

On Saturday, the Brianna Grace Band will be featured from 3:30 p.m – 6:30 p.m. The Southeastern Massachusetts Community Concert Band will also perform from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. The night will end with spectacular fireworks that will light up the evening sky at 9:50 p.m. 

Reminisants will perform oldies Sunday afternoon and there will be a dance presentation by Showcase Dance Productions, a local dance company that will entertain children of all ages.

Throughout the entire fair, there will be hayrides pulled by an antique tractor. Norfolk Country 4-H clubs will host various agricultural exhibits including a pet parade on Sunday morning. There will be craft displays by local artisans, magicians, animal shows, jugglers and face painters throughout the weekend as well as opportunities to enjoy a variety of cuisine as the foot booths.   

In addition, the 5K road race will be held on Saturday, September 15, beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Snacks and refreshments will be available courtesy of the Tavern of Wrentham.  Don’t forget to attend one of the largest flea markets in the area on Saturday morning, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  There is a $3 parking donation to support the Wrentham Lions and Friends of Wrentham.
