Court Documents: Hernandez Told Associate He Killed Lloyd

By Daniel Libon
New court documents filed in Florida show that Aaron Hernandez may have admitted to killing Odin Lloydaccording to WCVB.

According to the documents, Hernandez accomplice Carlos Ortiz told investigations in Massachusetts that Ernest Wallace said Hernandez admitted to killing Lloyd.

Earnest Wallace is being charged with being an accessory to the murder of Lloyd and is being held without bail. Wallace pleaded not guilty to the charges. Ortiz is charged with illegally carrying a firearm and has also pleaded not guilty.

Ortiz told police that during the drive to the industrial park in North Attleboro, Hernandez told Lloyd that he was "chilling" with people he had problems with. Shortly afterwards, the two men shook hands and appeared to to be fine.

Arriving at the industrial park, the men with the exception of Ortiz got out of the car to relieve themselves. Ortiz then told police that he could hear gunshots but could not see who pulled the trigger because it was too dark.

When the car returned to Hernandez's home, Wallace asked Ortiz to hand him a gun in the glove compartment and did so once they were inside the house.

After sleeping at the house, the men exchanged the Altima Hernandez rented for a Chrysler 300 before returning to Hernandez's home. Then, Ortiz and Wallace went to an apartment used by Hernandez before driving to Bristol, Conn.

Ortiz told police that Wallace said Hernandez killed Lloyd.

The documents also said that a vehicle linked to a July 2012 unsolved double murder in Boston appeared during a police investigation in Bristol, Conn. According to police, the vehicle had been rented a year earlier in Hernandez's name.
