Original Story

An accident near Exit 15 on Route 495 northbound has left the area of the highway closed and a need for a MedFlight according to MassDOT.

Early reports from Northeast Fire Alerts say that a box truck went off the road and into the woods. The jaws of life was needed to get the driver out of the vehicle. The two lanes were closed before all lanes were shut down to help create a landing area for the MedFlight.

Anyone driving near the accident should expect heavy delays.
