Aaron Hernandez Placed in Solitary Confinement

Aaron Hernandez has been moved moved from the medical ward to a “Class 2″ jail cell according to a new report from TMZ.

According to the gossip website, a prisoner in a Class 2 cell is isolated from the general prison population and is only allowed to be outside his cell for three hours a day.
"The reason for this move is simply to protect him. We wouldn't want some inmate trying to get any notoriety by attempting to harm Aaron Hernandez," Bristol  County Sheriff Tom Hodgson told the website.

Hernandez is expected to be in the cell for at least a week before his situation is re-evaluated.

As for his behavior, Hodgson says that the former Patriots' player is doing well, is respectful, and calm.

Hernandez is currently being held in the Bristol County House of Corrections without bail while he awaits trial for his alleged role in the murder of Odin Lloyd.
