5 Things You Should Know Today: July 1

Here's what's happening around town today, Friday, July 1.

1. Weekly  at Fiske Library. Birth to pre-walkers with Mom, Dad or caregiver meet on Fridays at 9:30am. Toddlers (walkers) to ages 2 ½ with Mom, Dad or caregiver meet on Fridays at 10:30am. Playgroups are held in the SWEATT Meeting Room. No registration required.

2.  will hold a  at 2pm. Bring your bike, scooter, baby buggy, doll carriage or wagon and the library will supply the red, white and blue decorations. Bring along a toy horn or musical instrument and enjoy a few minutes of being “LOUD” in the library!! Bring your camera to take pictures of our “parade” around the library. This is a free event and no registration is required.

3.  will travel to Brookline for a 5:45pm game.

4.  You know its summer when the Big Apple Farm announces that raspberries are now in season and ready for you to pick at their farm. The Big Apple also has fresh tomatoes and cherries available just in time for your Fourth of July barbecue.
