5 Things You Need to Know Friday, May 10: Don't forget Wrentham Recycling Day

Norfolk Youth Baseball and the Pawtucket Red Sox will be hosting Norfolk Youth Baseball Night June 25.

1. The Plainville schools will be hosting staff appreciation day today.

2. Wrentham Recyling will be holding a donation event May 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wrentham Senior Center Parking Lot on Taunton Street. To see what you can bring and what you can't bring, go to  http://www.bostonbuildingresources.com/

3. Sign-ups for the Wrentham swimming lessons and recreation summer playground camp signup will be held at the town hall, 79 South St., in the first floor lobby. A signup will be held May 11, 9:30-11 a.m. See the recreation department's website for more information.

4. The Plainville Summer Learning Academy program is offered in two sessions for three  weeks in July and August. Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday. For details and registration form, please visitPlainville Summer Learning Academy.

5. Tuesday, June 25 is Norfolk Baseball Day at McCoy Stadium as the Pawtucket Red Sox will be playing the Toledo Mudhens in a 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $8 for general admission with 50-percent of the cost going to Norfolk Youth Baseball through this program.
