5 Things You Need to Know: April 3

There are events coming up for your animals.

1. The 2013 Norfolk Board of Health's Rabbies Clinic will be held Saturday, April 6, at the DPW garage from 9-11 a.m. The cost is $12 per animal. Dr. Shelley Sandler, DVM, will be the vet.

2. 4 Paws Animal Shelter Expo and Bazaar will be held Saturday, June 20, at 10 a.m.-3 p.m. next to the Crackerbarrel Fairgrounds on Emerald St. in Wrentham. They are looking for vendors with animal related products, rescue groups, shelters, therapy dogs, dog walking and pet sitting services, all groups dedicated to the car and welfare of animals are invited to participate.Please send an email to rs08@verizon.net describing your group or product.

3. The first annual Tee-Off for Tri-County Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, May 11, at the New England Country Club, 180 Paine St., Bellingham, beginning at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. Golfers who would like to participate can sign up to play for $125 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range, dinner, and entry into various competitions taking place during the afternoon. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for those who do not golf. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Tri-County student activities.

4. Wrentham dog licenses were due by March 31. If you didn't register your dog, you will be assessed a late fee of $50. Contact the Wrentham Town Clerk's office for more information.
