5 Things You Need to Know: April 10: Holly Club Fashion Show Tonight
The Norfolk County Mosquito Control District will be doing helicopter spraying.
1. Arts on the Common a fine arts and crafts exhibition and festival will be held on the Wrentham, MA Town Common on Saturday, June 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featured throughout the day will be performance art, music, interactive activities for all ages and demonstrations by exhibitors. 2. In recognition of White Cane Day, the Wrentham Lions Club is holding its annual Toll Road Saturday May 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Wrentham Center. Funds donated will be used for Lions Charities such as Perkins Schools for the Blind, National Braille Press and the Clara Barton Diabetes Center for Children. Local charities include the Wrentham Food Pantry, Scholarships, and numerous elder services.

3. The Holly Club will be holding their 32nd Annual Fashion Show, "Fashionably Local" Wednesday, April 10, at Lake View Pavillion in Foxborough. Cocktails will be at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Proceeds go toward charities, scholarships, and schools. Contact Pat at (508) 699-4851 for ticket information.
4.The Norfolk County Mosquito Control District will be conducting helicopter applications for two to three days anytime between April 16, through April 26, These applications will be conducted over specific large wetlands in town. Contact the Wrentham Board of Health at (508) 384-5480 for further information.

5. The Tri-County Regional Vocational High School has planned an Electronics Recycling Collection Event Fundraiser for Earth day on Monday, April 22, from 4-7 p.m. Residents of the school's 11-town district may drop of unwanted electronics around the back of the school to be disposed of in an environmentally safe way for nominal fees. Al of the money raised during the event will benefit the Tri-County School garden, which donated more than 350 pounds of fresh produce to the Franklin Food Pantry last summer. All electronics will be disposed of by Metech Recycling, a Certified e-Steward recycler.
