In the final weekend before Christmas, here are the five things you need to know.

1. This Weekend's Weather from the National Weather Service

  • Saturday: A slight chance of snow showers before 10am, then a slight chance of rain showers between 10am and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Southwest wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 25. West wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.
  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. West wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.
  • Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22.

 

2. Final Days to Get a Christmas Tree

This weekend will be the final two days of the Wrentham Lions Club Christmas tree sale at the American Legion on Route 1A. For those who need a tree, the Lions will be at the American Legion both Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

3. King Philip Sports This Saturday

5. Tickets on Sale for Father/Daughter/Special Person Dance

. The semiformal event encourages King Philip High School girls to invite their father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, older brother, or other important adult male in their life to share an evening of dinner and dancing.
