5 Things: Water Main Shut Down, Special Town Meeting Tomorrow, and More

It's Monday, November 12 and here are the five things you need to know!

1. Today's Weather From the National Weather Service

  • Today: Sunny, with a high near 68. South wind 5 to 11 mph.
  • Tonight: A chance of showers, mainly after 11pm. Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. South wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

3. Water main Shutdown on Kendrick Street

On Wednesday, November 14 at 8:00 a.m., the 6 inch water main on Kendrick Street will be shut down in order to replace a broken water gate valve. Residents who rely on the main will be without water for approximately eight hours.

The town recommends that residents draw water prior to 8:00 a.m. if needed. The rain date is Thursday, November 15 at 8:00 a.m.

 

4. Wrentham Emergency Management Agency Survey

The Wrentham Emergency Management Agency (WEMA) is encouraging residents to take part in their survey to help assess the shelter and support needs if there were to be an incident in town.

5. Special Town Meeting Tomorrow

The Town of Wrentham will hold a Special Town Meeting tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at King Philip Regional High. School. The warrant for the meeting can be viewed here.
