4. Trainertown in Plainville Offering Free Classes for Those Who Donate Non-Perishable Food Items

Trainertown Personal Training proudly announced their promotion to help feed those in need this holiday season. During the month of November, the personal training and fitness studio will give a free one-hour class to each person who brings a grocery bag full of non-perishable goods to Trainertown for donation to the Plainville Food Pantry.

“We want to give back to the community this Thanksgiving,” says Trainertown co-owner Stephanie Dion;  “With this approach, we’re not just helping those in need, we’re also giving the gift of fitness.”

Trainertown offers three different classes: Boot Camp, Spin, and Body Move, Mold and Melt.  Boot Camp is a circuit training class that gives a full-body workout that will not be soon forgotten!  Boot Camp, the most popular class, is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 8 am, and Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Spin combines a great cardio workout with leg and core development, along with heart-pumping music; it is upbeat and loads of fun. Spin is offered Wednesday at 5 pm and Saturday at 9 am. The newest class, Body Move, Mold and Melt, is a kinder, gentler workout using body weight, core and Swiss balls, and kettle bells to sculpt the body and melt away fat.  This class is offered on Saturday at 10 am. For those seeking something even more challenging, Trainertown plans to introduce a P90X program sometime during November. Details will be posted on their website http://www.trainertown.com

Trainertown will also offer a special on Small Business Saturday, November 24. For those interested in attending group fitness classes, a 12-class pack will be available for $75, a 25 percent savings off the regular price of $100.
